Deadpool Plot

Ajax, a twisted scientist, conducts experiments on mercenary Wade Wilson in order to cure him of cancer and grant him healing powers. Wade, on the other hand, is disfigured as a result of the experiment, and he vows vengeance.

Based on Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who adopts the alter ego Deadpool after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers.

Deadpool Narrative

When Wade Wilson meets Vanessa, a prostitute, he is a dishonorably discharged special forces operative working as a mercenary. They fall in love, and a year later she accepts his marriage proposal. Wilson is diagnosed with terminal cancer and abruptly abandons Vanessa so she does not have to witness his death.

Wilson is approached by a mysterious recruiter who offers him an experimental cure for his cancer. He is brought to Ajax and Angel Dust, who inject him with a serum designed to activate dormant mutant genes. Wilson is subjected to days of torture in an attempt to induce stress and trigger any mutations he may have, but they are unsuccessful. When Wilson learns that Ajax’s real name is Francis and mocks him for it.

Wilson survives and goes in search of Vanessa. He doesn’t tell her he’s alive because he’s afraid of her reaction to his new appearance. Wilson decides to track down Ajax for the cure after consulting with his best friend Weasel. He becomes a masked vigilante, going by the moniker “Deadpool” (after Weasel picked him out of a dead pool), and moves into the home of an elderly blind woman named Al.
