Glass Plot

A group of armed men intervenes as David confronts Kevin. Now imprisoned in a mental institution with Elijah, the two’s superhuman abilities are being questioned by Ellie, a mysterious psychiatrist.

The film is a sequel to Shyamalan’s previous films Unbreakable (2000) and Split (2016), as well as the third and final installment in the Unbreakable trilogy.

Glass Narrative

David and Kevin are committed to a mental institution for criminals. Elijah Price, David’s sworn arch enemy known as “Mr. Glass,” who was sent there 19 years ago, is also being held there. The institution’s chief physician, Dr. Staple, claims to be an expert in working with patients who believe they have supernatural abilities. She has three days to persuade David, Kevin, and Elijah that they are just “normal” people who think they are superhumans.

Staple segregates David and Kevin into separate rooms, each with a security feature – in David’s case, water sprinklers to prevent the Beast from surfacing, and in Kevin’s case, a system of flashing lights to prevent the Beast from surfacing.

Joseph, Mrs. Price, and Casey Cooke (a survivor of the Beast’s first attacks) all visit the hospital at different times and make unsuccessful attempts to help their friends.
