Arrow Plot

After mastering the art of archery on a deserted island, multi-millionaire playboy Oliver Queen returns to his city to fight crime and corruption as the vigilante Arrow.

The series follows billionaire playboy Oliver Queen, who was shipwrecked on the mysterious island Lian Yu for five years before returning to Starling City.

Arrow Narrative

Oliver begins preparing to attack another person on the list, but Diggle convinces him that he should broaden his responsibilities and assist the police in stopping a group of bank robbers. He initially refuses, believing it will detract from his mission to right Robert’s wrongs, but eventually agrees. Oliver deduces that the robbers are a family unit, and that the leader, Derek Reston, previously worked for Queen Industries before Robert outsourced 1500 jobs to China, causing the Reston family to lose their home.

Oliver, feeling guilty, tries to persuade Derek to right his own wrongs, but learns that the family is planning another bank robbery. Derek is fatally shot during Oliver’s confrontation. Meanwhile, Tommy organizes a fundraiser for Laurel’s law firm, CNRI, in the hopes of proving his love for her in this way. Oliver and Moira are able to reestablish their emotional bond. In flashbacks, Oliver has a dream in which Robert blames him for his laziness, and he discovers the target names in his father’s notebook.

Moira is nearly shot by a mysterious assailant who was attempting to assassinate a mob boss’s associate, Frank Bertinelli. Oliver tries to infiltrate Frank’s company in order to find out who the attacker is. Frank holds Chien and the Triad gang responsible for his people’s deaths. Oliver discovers that the assailant is Helena Bertinelli, Frank’s daughter, with whom he had recently gone on a date.
