Hit Monkey Plot

Tokyo’s underworld was razed by a vengeful Japanese snow monkey and the ghost of an American assassin.

Hit-Monkey is a wronged Japanese macaque who is guided by the ghost of an American assassin named Bryce Fowler as he wreaks havoc on Tokyo’s criminal underworld.

Hit Monkey Narrative

Bryce and Hit-Monkey follow the address to a prison, which they infiltrate while arguing about Hit-Monkey’s code. The warden captures Hit-Monkey, but he escapes and discovers that the Accountant is held in a section of the prison known as “The Pit.” Meanwhile, Ozu’s promotional team runs Akiko off the road, despite Yokohama’s advice not to call the press in order to avoid an incident. Hit-Monkey and Bryce meet the Accountant in the Pit, who forces them to fight Fat Cobra.

Hit-Monkey triumphs, but instead of killing Cobra, he joins forces with him to defeat the Accountant. The Accountant is pursued by Hit-Monkey to a hidden luxury room, where he reveals that he was hired by The Rooster to fund Takahara’s assassination before being assassinated by his own men. The Warden launches an attack, but Hit-Monkey and Bryce escape thanks to a rat Hit-Monkey saved earlier. After that, Hit-Monkey pays a visit to Akiko, who thanks him for saving her. The actions of Hit-Monkey were widely publicized, lending credence to Ito and Haruka’s claims.

Hit-Monkey saves Ito from being run over while fighting Yuki and a street racer named Eiko, convincing both him and Yuki that he is good. The Poacher then captures Hit-Monkey, and Bryce admits that he is jealous. They kill the Poacher and slaughter the Yakuza leaders together, while Rooster is apprehended by the police. After Yuki destroys their apartment, Hit-Monkey decides to stay with Akiko, which she agrees to.
