Hunters Plot

In 1977, Nazi hunters discover hundreds of high-ranking Nazi officials conspiring to establish a Fourth Reich in the United States; the Hunters set out to bring the Nazis to justice and thwart their new genocidal plans.

The characters in the series are based on a number of real Nazi hunters from the past, but they are not meant to be exact replicas of any of them.

Hunters Narrative

Biff, the US undersecretary of state, hosts a barbecue at which a guest is shocked to recognize him as a senior Nazi, prompting Biff to murder everyone present, including his own family. Jonah witnesses his grandmother’s brutal murder inside their Brooklyn home and vows to uncover the truth about her death. While sitting Shiva for Ruth, he runs into Ruth’s old friend, Meyer Offerman.

Gretel Fischer, an elderly NASA scientist, is killed in her shower in Florida. Jonah, a code-breaker prodigy, sees only a few clues in Meyer’s home but uses them to track down Ruth’s killer, a toy shop owner who was a murderous guard at the Auschwitz concentration camp and the murderer of Ruth’s younger sister. The owner of the toy shop gains the upper hand, but Meyer arrives and kills him.

Meyer introduces Jonah to the Hunters, who are initially hesitant to include him, but he quickly gains acceptance by breaking a code in the toy maker’s correspondence. Ruth was a major part of the Hunters, having built their extensive archive of historical files and more recent interviews, according to Jonah. Millie, an FBI agent investigating the scientist’s death, begins to uncover Nazi connections.
