Love Victor Plot

Love, Victor follows Victor, a new student at Creekwood High School, on his own journey of self-discovery while dealing with family issues, adjusting to a new city, and grappling with his sexual orientation. When it all becomes too much for him, he turns to Simon for assistance in navigating the ups and downs of high school.

The series follows him on his journey of self-discovery, as he faces challenges at home and wrestles with his sexual orientation.

Love Victor Narrative

Pilar accepts Victor immediately after he comes out to his family, despite the fact that their parents do not. Isabel is still struggling to accept his sexuality at the end of summer vacation. Armando, who has become more accepting of Victor’s identity, has moved to a new home after his divorce from Isabel. When Victor invites Benji and his friends over for dinner, Isabel throws out her meal to avoid spending time with Victor and Benji, and eventually fakes indigestion to get out early.

Mia returns from her job as a camp counselor feeling estranged from her friends. Victor and his friends travel to Lake Lanier, where he shares a moment with Benji, realizing they can lean on each other even when things get tough. Victor’s father tells Isabel that they have no choice but to accept Victor as he is. Dawn, Felix’s mother, is suffering from severe depression, which has caused her to lose her job and put her and Felix at risk of eviction.

Victor is ecstatic to be out on the first day of his junior year, but Isabel makes him question himself. When Victor’s teammates ask if he is still dating Mia, he panics and says they are broken up, causing a rumor that Mia cheated on Victor to spread. When some boys at school slut-shame Mia, Victor gets into a fight and is sent to detention. Meanwhile, Felix attempts to raise funds to keep his family from being evicted.
