My Hero Academia Plot

A superhero-obsessed young man with no superpowers is determined to enroll in a prestigious hero academy and learn what it takes to be a true hero.

Izuku Midoriya is a young boy who is Quirkless, which means he lacks supernatural abilities, but he still aspires to be a great hero one day.

My Hero Academia Narrative

Izuku Midoriya is a young boy who has always dreamed of becoming a hero, despite not having a Quirk himself, until one day he is attacked by a villain made of sludge and is rescued by none other than All Might, the most famous hero ever and his childhood idol.

All Might’s true form is revealed to be that of a frail, emaciated man who suffered a massive injury years ago, as discovered by Izuku. All Might advises Izuku to abandon his dream of becoming a hero in favor of pursuing a more realistic goal. Izuku returns home, disheartened, to find his classmate and bully Katsuki Bakug being attacked by the same sludge villain that All Might had captured. Izuku rushes in because there are no heroes around who can fight the villain.

All Might tells Izuku about his Quirk, a sacred torch called “One For All” that transfers its power from one person to the next. While All Might believes Izuku is deserving of his Quirk, giving it to him right away would be detrimental to his untrained body. All Might then devises a ten-month training program to ensure that Izuku is capable of carrying it. Izuku is ready to take the exams for the prestigious U.A. High School for heroes in training after receiving All Might’s Quirk.
