Reacher Plot

When Jack Reacher, a veteran military police investigator, is falsely accused of murder, he returns to civilian life.

Former US Army military policeman Jack Reacher visits the fictional rural town of Margrave, Georgia, and is quickly drawn into a violent confrontation with a brutal criminal conspiracy.

Reacher Narrative

Hubble’s wife and children are taken into unofficial protective custody by Finlay’s friend, FBI agent Picard. Reacher arranges a meeting with Spivey, but two ex-soldiers ambush him, allowing Spivey to flee. After that, Roscoe takes him to a bar, where Reacher begins to reveal details about his past. They discover the road is washed out while driving home and are forced to spend the night in the same motel room.

The two men then pay a personal visit to Kliner. Kliner claims he has no knowledge of the investigation and threatens to end it. Reacher persuades Roscoe and Finlay to leave their homes for the time being. Roscoe is approached by Kliner’s son KJ while shopping for supplies, who warns her that Reacher is a murderer. Reacher is ambushed by the ex-soldiers once more, but this time he manages to kill them. He then finds Spivey’s corpse in their car trunk.

Reacher takes Roscoe to help him dispose of the bodies after touching base with Finlay. He also reveals the truth behind KJ’s warning: Reacher killed three civilians who were sexually assaulting a group of young boys while serving in Iraq.
