Secret Invasion Narrative

In the heart of Moscow, Talos relentlessly pursues Everett K. Ross for the murder of CIA agent Prescod. Prescod had postulated that shapeshifting Skrull rebels, disgruntled by the apparent failure of Talos and Nick Fury to secure them a new home planet, are plotting to spark a war between Russia and the United States to seize control of Earth. As Maria Hill arrives to aid Ross, a shocking revelation unfolds—Ross himself is a Skrull. With this revelation, Hill urgently contacts Fury, who, unbeknownst to many, has been working in space for years after the Blip.

Upon his return to Earth, Fury discovers that Talos has been ousted from the Skrull Council, replaced by the rebels’ leader, Gravik. Fury is then abducted by MI6 agents under the command of Sonya Falsworth, an old acquaintance. Falsworth, however, refuses to collaborate with Fury to thwart Gravik’s plans. Employing clever espionage, Fury and Talos uncover the Skrulls responsible for procuring dirty bombs for the rebels, including Talos’s own daughter, G’iah.

In a heart-wrenching revelation, G’iah discloses that her mother, Soren, fell victim to the rebels. As the stakes escalate, G’iah unveils the rebels’ ominous plan to target Vossoyedineniye Square on Unity Day. Despite their best efforts, Fury, Hill, and Talos are unable to intercept the bombs before Gravik triggers a devastating explosion. In the ensuing chaos, Gravik assumes Fury’s identity and ruthlessly eliminates Hill, plunging the narrative into a gripping tale of deception, revenge, and the imminent threat of an extraterrestrial takeover.
