Smallville Plot

Clark, the adopted son of Martha and Jonathan Kent, possesses supernatural abilities. He conceals his abilities from everyone and makes it his mission to protect teenagers from evil forces.

Smallville follows the adventures of adolescent Clark Kent in his fictional hometown of Smallville, Kansas, before he is formally transformed into the Man of Steel.

Smallville Narrative

A meteor shower hits Smallville in October 1989, bringing with it a young boy. Martha and Jonathan Kent adopt the child and name him Clark. Clark is still trying to figure out who he is after twelve years. Clark and Lex Luthor become fast friends after Clark saves Lex’s life after Lex drives his Porsche off a bridge. He is forced to participate in a school hazing ritual after sharing an intimate moment with Lana Lang, who is led by Lana’s jealous boyfriend Whitney.

Greg Arkin is involved in a car accident with his meteor rock-enhanced insects, which escape and begin stinging him. The ensuing attack turns him into a half-man, half-insect creature. Greg, who is undergoing a rapid metamorphosis, kidnaps Lana in order to mate with her. Clark realizes where Greg has taken Lana after speaking with Whitney and sets out to rescue her.

Coach Arnold gains pyrokinesis after spending time in a meteor rock-infused sauna. Chloe discovers that Coach Arnold assisted the players when they cheated after several football players are caught cheating. Coach Arnold invites Clark to join the football team, and Clark agrees, despite his father’s objections. Clark confronts Coach Arnold prior to his first game, after Arnold attempted to murder Chloe and another football player for exposing the truth about the cheating.
