Star Wars: The Clone Wars Plot

As the Clone Wars spread across multiple star systems, the Jedi Knights struggle to keep the peace and defeat the Separatists’ droid army. Meanwhile, an old threat emerges from the shadows.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars takes place three years before Attack of the Clones and three years after Revenge of the Sith, in the prequel trilogy era.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Narrative

To prove the Jedi are strong enough to protect a strategic planet and forge a treaty for the Republic, Jedi Master Yoda must face off against Count Dooku’s dreaded assassin Asajj Ventress and her massive droid army. Ventress fails against Yoda, so Dooku orders Ventress to assassinate the planet’s king, who wishes to sign a treaty with the Republic. Yoda shields the king from Ventress, who flees.

Padmé discovers, while on a diplomatic mission to the planet Rodia, that her old friend and fellow Republic senator Onaconda Farr has allied his planet with the Separatists. Onaconda captures Padmé and promises to deliver her to Nute Gunray in exchange for food and resources for his people. Sensing that Padmé is in danger, Jar Jar Binks disguises himself as a Jedi and fights bravely to save his friend and fellow senator, with the help of C-3PO.

Nute Gunray, the captured notorious Separatist leader, is escorted to Coruscant by Ahsoka and Jedi Master Luminara Unduli to stand trial for his crimes. They are, however, unaware that Count Dooku has dispatched his assassin, Asajj Ventress, to free their prisoner. Despite the traitorous plans of Senate Guard Captain Argyus, the Jedi must thwart Ventress’s efforts to free their prisoner with the help of Senate Commandos.
