The Big Bang Theory Plot

Leonard, Sheldon, Howard, and Raj, four socially awkward friends, have their lives turned upside down when they meet the beautiful and free-spirited Penny.

They are having difficulty socializing at the party: Sheldon is unable to explain his Doppler effect costume because none of Penny’s friends are physicists or intelligent enough to comprehend it; Raj is unable to communicate with women; Howard, dressed as Robin Hood, is mistaken for Peter Pan; and Leonard is insecure.
