Titans Plot

This gritty take on the “Teen Titans” franchise follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they mature and discover their place in the world. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special girl possessed by a strange darkness, become involved in a plot that has the potential to bring Hell to Earth.

Titans follows the titular team of young superheroes as they battle evil and other perils. The Titans are disbanded when the story begins, but the team returns when the original and new members reform the Titans.

Titans Narrative

Kory pursues Rachel and witnesses the Nuclear Family kidnapping her. Rachel’s dark self refuses to assist her, but Kory appears, incinerates Nuclear Dad with her powers, and persuades Rachel to accompany her. Rachel and Kory make their way to a convent where Melissa allegedly hid from Rachel’s father when she was a baby, and which Kory had visited a year before in search of Rachel.

Dick recalls discovering that his parents’ deaths were not an accident and being taken in by billionaire Bruce Wayne, who offers to teach him “another way to deal with the pain.” Rachel briefly meets Garfield Logan, and Dick arrives. When Rachel’s dark side manifests itself again, Dick and Kory return her to the convent, where the sisters secretly lock her in the basement. Kory discovers that prior to her memory loss, she was researching various doomsday prophecies about the arrival of an apocalyptic “raven.” Rachel’s dark self taunts her before manifesting, resulting in an explosion that allows Rachel to flee.

In a flashback, a fully costumed man encounters an ailing Gar and injects him with something to save his life. Back in the present, Rachel encounters Gar in his tiger form while fleeing through the woods. Gar takes Rachel to his house after an encounter with hunters, where she meets Cliff Steele, Larry Trainor, and Rita Farr. Dr. Niles Caulder is furious with Gar for bringing a stranger into their home, but later apologizes for being harsh with him.
