The Flash Plot

When the Flash uses his superpowers to travel back in time and change the events of the past, two worlds meet. However, after his attempt to save his family unwittingly changes the future, he finds himself stranded in a realm in which General Zod has returned, threatening apocalypse.

In the film, Barry goes back in time to save his mother, which has unintended effects.

The Flash Narrative

Following his heroic efforts in Gotham City, Barry Allen, known as The Flash, finds himself grappling with memories of his past, specifically the wrongful imprisonment of his father, Henry, for the murder of his mother, Nora. Emotionally overwhelmed, Barry accidentally triggers the Speed Force, transporting him back in time to earlier in the day. Seeking guidance, he confides in Bruce Wayne, also known as Batman, about his unintentional time travel.

Despite Bruce’s cautionary warnings about the potential consequences of meddling with time, Barry is resolute in his decision to prevent his mother’s tragic death. Venturing back to the fateful day of Nora’s murder, he successfully alters the timeline, resulting in an alternate reality where Nora is alive in 2013.

Navigating the complexities of this altered timeline, Barry encounters his younger self from 2013 and decides to assist in the development of his powers. At the Central City Police Department, Barry guides 2013-Barry to replicate the accident that granted him his abilities. However, in doing so, present-day Barry unintentionally sacrifices his own powers in the process.
