Venom Plot

While trying to take down Carlton, the CEO of Life Foundation, Eddie, a journalist, investigates experiments of human trials. Unwittingly, he gets merged with a symbiotic alien with lethal abilities.

In the film, struggling journalist Brock gains superpowers after becoming the host of an alien symbiote, Venom, whose species plans to invade Earth.

Venom Narrative

A probe belonging to the bio-engineering corporation Life Foundation discovers a comet covered in symbiotic lifeforms while exploring space for new habitable worlds. The probe returns to Earth with four samples, but one of them escapes and crashes into Malaysia, causing the ship to crash. The Life Foundation rescues the other three and transports them to their San Francisco research facility, where they learn that the symbiotes can’t survive without oxygen-breathing hosts, which often kill them.

In a classified document in the possession of his fiancée Anne Weying, an attorney preparing a lawsuit defense for the Life Foundation, investigative journalist Eddie Brock reads about these human trials. Brock confronts Carlton Drake, the CEO of the Life Foundation, about the trials, and both Brock and Weying lose their jobs as a result. As a result, Weying calls it quits on their relationship.

Drake’s symbiosis trials are getting closer to success six months later, though one of his symbiotes dies due to carelessness. Dora Skirth, one of Drake’s scientists, approaches Brock and tells him that she disagrees with his methods and wants to expose him. She assists Brock in breaking into the research facility in order to look for evidence, and he discovers that one of his acquaintances, Maria, a homeless woman, is one of the test subjects.
